The Internet Versus Me

I just watched “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” I assumed this movie would be about magic. Possibly about a girl with a magic dragon tattoo, who was a secret wizard. Kind of like Harry Potter, except she spends a lot of her time on StickyDrama, and is Sweedish.

In fact, this movie has no magic at all. What it does have, however, is a generous portion of non-consensual sex. That’s funny I didn’t know how to spell consensual until now. I figured it would have a “t” and be consentual, but actually it is con… and sensual. If something is “sensual” doesn’t that mean sex and what-not? And con i think means “against”… so I feel like “con-sensual” would mean “against sex,” which is not what I thought that word meant.

One other part of this movie confused me. At one point you meat a woman (that should be a new phrase, “meat a woman,”) who is Sweedish, but has a tan. Who is she trying to fool here? I just don’t think Sweedish people should have tans. Period. End of Story.
